On February 19, the Spring Semester 2023 Orientation for incoming students of School of Business Administration (SBA), Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE) was successfully held online. Professor Mingfeng Tang, Assistant Dean in charge of International Affairs of SBA, Ms. Noemie Xiao and Ms. Catherine Zhou from International Affairs Office of SBA, volunteers from the International Student Association (ISA) of SBA, and all new incoming students from partner universities attended the meeting.

Professor Mingfeng Tang delivered an opening speech firstly. On behalf of Professor Jue Wang, Executive Dean of SBA, she warmly welcomed all new students who come to China or participate in online courses, introduced the achievements and advanced ideas of running a university of SWUFE in recent years, and encouraged them to embrace new environment and culture with full enthusiasm and to integrate into university life as soon as possible. Ms. Catherine Zhou and Ms. Noemie Xiao then gave a detailed introduction and explanation on SWUFE, SBA, course information, and regulations and safety reminder. Finally, ISA volunteer Junyi Zhu introduced basic information of ISA, volunteer program, student activities, and special attractions in Chengdu and Sichuan.

The Spring Semester 2023 Orientation for incoming students came to a successful conclusion. The School of Business Administration sincerely welcomes students from all over the world to start an excellent chapter in the new life journey here.
